A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘My Ambition in Life’.
Google defines the term ‘ambition’ to be “a strong desire to do or achieve something.” In this sense, an ambition is any goal or aspiration that we all have and wish to actualize.
Again, an ambition needn’t necessarily be a job. My ambition in life is, in fact, to be of service to society and turn it for the better.
We all are aware of the various problems prevalent in society today. We have gender-related issues, caste problems, environmental problems, poverty related issues and so on. Help is required by those affected by social disadvantages everywhere.
It is thus my ambition to be a small contribution to society and help solve some of these issues and be of help to people. I want to take up social work as my major in college and take it up professionally one day!
