A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of “Life”.
Google defines life to be “the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.” But is this all there is to life?
Most certainly not! Life involves much more than breathing and surviving! It is to live, not merely exist as said above. It is to feel the sensations of the world and get immersed in a wide range of emotions. It is to succeed and fail alike, to feel both the joys and sorrows. To live life well is to not wallow in regrets. Afterall, we live only once.
“Live! Live the wonderful life that is in you! Let nothing be lost upon you. Be always searching for new sensations. Be afraid of nothing”, said Oscar Wilde.
Indeed, live in accordance with his wise words and life to the fullest!
