A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘Jawaharlal Nehru’.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, affectionately known as ‘Chacha’, was a former and the first Prime Minister of India and served for a duration of 16 years. Born on the 14th of November in 1889, it is his birthday that is celebrated as ‘Children’s Day’ every year in India.
Nehru was an integral part of the Indian Independence Movement and helped rid India of the tyranny of the British. He is known for saying the noted slogan “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom.” Considered to be a great leader, he is known to inspire others.
Nehru said, “We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” Let us all be motivated by him and live in accordance!
