Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Globalisation.
In this age of rapidly developing science and technology, the world has been transformed into a global village. People from all over the world, belonging to many varied cultures and nations, can now interact and mingle with each other and exchange values and ideas. This intermingling of people on an international level is known as globalisation.
Globalisation has led to the spread of businesses and media worldwide, creating a global economy where even the smallest nation is included. Developing and underdeveloped countries have benefited greatly from this. However, globalisation has also led to the rise of major worldwide pandemics, such as COVID-19, which shook the entire world in 2020.
To conclude, globalisation is indeed an amazing thing! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
