Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic ‘Girl Child Education’.
Nowadays, girl child education has become of supreme importance. Beyonce, the famous singer, said “We have to tell our girls that they can reach as high as humanly possible.”
This is true. We should not confine our girls in the houses to do chores, using them as nothing but unpaid labour. This blatant oppression and discrimination will serve to do nothing but hinder the progress of India as a nation.
It is important for us to understand that both boys and girls are equal under the law and hence, girls must be given equal opportunities for good education. They deserve to study well and choose the career of their choice to succeed in life.
To aid this, the government has introduced schemes such as ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.’
They say, “If you educate a woman, you educate a nation.” Let us join our hands together and educate girls!
