Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic ‘future’.
Future is an interesting topic to explore. It is a subject that holds much curiosity and excitement, mainly because it is unpredictable and unknown. Yet, we humans do try to predict it.
Astrology, horoscope, sun signs, palm leaves, reading tea leaves, tarot cards, and crystal balls are common attempts wielded by us to try to predict the future. How accurate they are is debatable but it cannot be refuted that they offer a small solace to those who seek to alleviate some of the suspense life has in store for them. A smaller version of this is manifested in the form of fortune cookies and chocolates.
Greeks help particular importance to the future. Oracles of God Apollo and the prophecies they delivered played a crucial role in the lives of the Greeks, as can be gathered from Greek tragedies. The future has always been a subject of interest from time immemorial.
