1 Minute Speech on Freedom In English

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Freedom.

Freedom is the very basic right of every individual. Freedom means the right to freely be your own true self, and to be independent from any external agents that might restrict you from that. India was once deprived of her freedom by British colonisers, and Indians had to fight to grab their freedom back from these foreign masters.

Indiaโ€™s freedom struggle for independence from British rule involved millions of people. Our great freedom fighters mobilised the masses so they could fight against the tyranny of British rule and gain freedom. These heroes sacrificed their lives and India ultimately became a free nation on August 15th, 1947.

To conclude, we must never forget the value of freedom and the heroes who won India its hard-earned freedom! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
