Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Energy Conservation.
In this rapidly developing world hugely dependent on energy to fuel its technology, energy conservation has become extremely important. Energy conservation allows us to save energy for the future, and protect planet earth. Energy conservation is the effort to lessen the consumption of energy, so that less strain is put on the earth’s natural resources.
We can conserve energy through making many simple changes in our daily life. We should never leave lights and fans on unnecessarily. We must try to use alternative energy sources such as solar energy and wind energy as much as possible, instead of fossil fuels that harm the environment.
To conclude, energy conservation is indeed essential to protecting earth! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
