A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a small speech on the topic ‘Draupadi Murmu’.
Draupadi Murmu is the current president of India in the year 2022 and holds the honour of being the 15th president.
Draupadi Murmu is the second female president India has had. She is also the first person to become a president hailing from the tribal community of the East. She is an Orissan native who is from the Santhal community in the Baidaposi village of Mayurbhanj.
Draupadi Murmu is a bold, fierce woman. She is a representative of the BJP party and has held several positions of responsibility there, beginning her political career as a councilor in Rairangpur, Orissa. Then, she became Jharkhand’s 9th governor from 2015 to 2021.
The Legislative Assembly of Orissa also gave Draupadi Murmu the Nilkantha Award for being the finest MLA.
