A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a small speech on the topic ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’.
This is an age-old adage that I’m quite sure everyone is familiar with. This is a proverb that is also pretty self-explanatory.
One must never judge a person based on their outward appearance. One must not underestimate them either. Thus, critiquing a person based on their physical appearance, be it good or bad, is a very wrong thing to do. After all, appearances can be deceptive.
A person who is physically good-looking and dresses impeccably does not imply that their character is equally good. Similarly, a shabbily clothed person needn’t be inherently bad either. The stereotype of ‘dumb blondes’ is an excellent example of this too.
Always remember that appearance never equals a person’s worth.
Thank you.
