Good morning to everyone, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, the teachers, and my friends for letting me tell you about the coronavirus. Coronavirus is a virus that causes respiratory illness in humans. It was initially detected in Wuhan in China in December 2019 and declared a pandemic by the WHO in March 2020.
Around the world, nations had imposed a state of emergency that includes the shutdown of businesses, restrictions on interstate and intrastate travel, and the suspension of tourist visas. People from underprivileged backgrounds have suffered greatly due to the outbreak, with shortages of food, loss of income, and more. Industries like pharmaceuticals, tourism, the power sector, and more also suffered losses.
Children can experience symptoms like fever, coughing, chills, difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, body aches, loss of taste or smell, congestion, diarrhea, sore throat, and more. Older people and those with serious underlying conditions like diabetes or heart disease are more vulnerable to complications. Thank you.
