A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be making a small speech on the topic ‘Constitution’.
Constitution, to be simply put, is the supreme authority of any nation. It is responsible for making laws that the citizens of that nation are supposed to abide by. The fundamental rights of each citizen are laid down by the constitution as well. Forming a constitution, is thus, no easy task.
It is thus the duty of the constitution to maintain law and order and promote peace, justice, and equality in the country. It enforces harmony thus.
It is worth noting that the Indian Constitution is the longest constitution in the world. There are 1,17,369 words in the original English version of the constitution. It has gone through numerous amendments as well and guarantees the fundamental rights of each and every citizen of India.
