Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be talking about the topic of animal testing.
In layman’s terms, animal testing refers to experimenting with scientific procedures on animals. Millions of animals are subjected to cruelty for the sake of not just scientific breakthroughs but also for human trivialities. Common animals that are used for this purpose are small animals such as rats and mice.
Animals are tested for the purpose of making medicines and vaccines, cosmetics such as beauty products, soaps, shampoos, and conditioners.
India, by far, is extremely progressive in this aspect. It happens to be the first country in South Asia to ban animal testing. Testing animals for cosmetics and soaps is prohibited.
Thus, animal testing should be banned in all countries and the rights of animals should be preserved. It ought to be concerned morally, ethically, and legally.
