Subject– New beginnings.
Dear Karishma,
I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to give you an update on my new boarding school experience. I have been here at St. Sebastian’s for a few weeks now and I have to say, I am really enjoying it.
The campus is beautiful and the people here are all really friendly and welcoming. The academic program is challenging, but I am learning a lot and I feel like I’m making good progress. I am also involved in a few extracurricular activities and I am having a lot of fun with those too.
One of the best things about living on campus is the independence. I am responsible for my own schedule and my own chores, which has been a big adjustment but also really rewarding. It is nice to be able to make my own decisions and to have a little more control over my day-to-day life. You know, boarding life is not that bad. It has been portrayed negatively but I am pleasantly surprised to see just how untrue that portrayal has been. The new experiences, new friends, mess food, it is beautiful in its own way.
I do miss you and Mom and Dad a lot, but I’m really glad I decided to come here. I think it’s a great opportunity and I am learning so much. I hope you’re doing well and that everything is going well for you. How is everyone at home? Give my love regards to mom and dad and much love to you.
Yours lovingly,
Alia U
