Subject: Children’s Day at our School
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I’m also well by his blessings. In my last letter I had told you that children’s day was coming up and I was looking forward to it since our school celebrates it quite grandly. The grand day finally came around last Friday! So, today I want to tell you all about how children’s day is celebrated at our school!
We were allowed to come to school in civil dress on children’s day, and everyone put on their best clothes for the occasion. The usually dull school hallway transformed into a bright scene full of colourfully dressed children on Children’s Day. Our teachers decorated the classrooms beautifully for the day, and we also had no classes throughout the day. Instead, we were free to play along with our friends as we wished.
The teachers also prepared many events for us, putting up various kinds of performances to entertain us. It was an amazing experience to see our talented teachers perform songs and dances to delight us. At the end, the teachers also distributed candies and sandwiches to us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the treat. Children’s Day was a truly memorable day thanks to the hard work of our teachers.
