Subject– Wedding Invitation.
Dear Sameer,
Hello. How are you? I hope this email finds you healthy and happy. By God’s grace I am also well.
I have some big news to share with you! You read the subject of the email and must be wondering whose wedding it is. Well, I am getting married! Next month I will be tying the knot. I know it is very surprising, but everything happened too soon. Kunal, my fiancé, is a banker. We met last year, through a common friend at an art event in Delhi.
The wedding is on 15th December but the festivities will begin from 3rd December. This will be your cliché big fat Indian wedding. We have chosen to get married in Jaipur. There will be a total of 8 events. The first will be a cocktail party where we all meet and mingle. Next will be the bachelorette party followed by the bridal shower.
Then the traditional events, the haldi, sangeet, mehendi, wedding and finally the reception. All the guests will stay at Juliet Residency and all arrangements have been made. I can not wait for you to meet Kunal. He is an amazing person and you will definitely love his humour.
I have attached the formal invitation card along with this email. I would love it if you attend. Very excited to hear from you. Write to me soon. Rsvp by next Monday.
Much love,
Simran U
