Subject:- An application for one day leave due to war
Respected Sir,
I am writing this letter to apply for a one-day leave due to war in my locality. The war has created a very unsafe environment and it is not safe to travel. Due to this, I am unable to attend school for a day. I am aware of the fact that this is an emergency situation and I will try my best to make up for the missed day by completing extra assignments and taking extra classes if needed.
I understand and respect the school policies, and I will make sure that I take precautions and stay safe. I hope you understand my situation and grant me the leave. I will be very thankful for your kind consideration.
