Respected Sir,

I am writing this leave application to let you know that I want to be excused for my morning class. Today we have a pooja at my house. We wanted to purify the surroundings of our house since we were experiencing bad energy. I will be coming back to classes after lunch. I request you to understand my reason and grant me a half day leave for the same.
