I hope my application finds you well. My name is K Shivakumar (Roll no. 123), son of K Raghukumar. I am writing this leave application to request for a half day’s leave today. I apologize for this sudden submission of my leave application but due to personal reasons, I have to visit my home and sort out a few things within my family. I will tell you my reasons tomorrow, for now please let me be excused from the afternoon classes. I have asked my friend’s notes prior to be updated with the classes I will be missing post your approval. Please consider my request and permit me to take a half day leave. I thank you for the same.
