Subject:- An application for absent in school due to Raksha Bandhan.
Respected Sir,
Most humbly and respectfully, I am writing this application to tell you that the festival of Raksha Bandhan is being celebrated tomorrow all over the country. This festival is the harbinger of happiness and signifies the sense of duty of brothers to protect their sisters. The sisters tie rakhi (a kind of thread) on the wrist of their brothers who in return promise to protect them. As you know, I have two sisters who are married. They are visiting me on Raksha Bandhan to tie rakhi from their respective cities. The whole family will be there and they want to celebrate this festival with full zeal. Please allow me to take two days off so that I can be a part of this grand celebration and enjoy such moments with my family whom I adore so much. I have completed all the existing tasks and assure you to join work immediately after two days.
