I am writing this application to inform you that I have been suffering from cold and cough lately. As you know that this viral disease is highly contagious, the doctor has advised me not to attend school for one week. Therefore, it has become impossible for me to attend the school. Please take note of my absence from the school and grant me a leave for one week. I shall join after full recovery.
