Subject – Leave for urgent work
Respected Sir,
I am wiriting this application to inform you that I have an urgent piece of work at home due to which I could not come to the office today. I received a communication from the health department early morning that the vaccination of my new-born is due today. Since, you know this is an urgent matter for me, I have to go to the hospital to get it done by today or it may result in a fatal disease to my child. I hope you understand the gravity of this matter. Please take notice of my absence from work for one day. I shall come to office tomorrow and clear all my pendency. I have full faith in your sense of justice.
