Subject – Application for the request of leave for my mother not being well

Sir,
With all due respect and honor, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for two days i.e. 6th and the 7th of June 2022 because my mother, aged 87, is suffering from a cold and cough. She has been suffering for a few days now. My husband has been with her for the past few days taking care of her.

However, my husband has scheduled an office meeting out of town for two days and therefore I have to be home to take care of my mother. We currently have no family support at the moment. Concerning this, I would like to take leave for two days to care for my mother. I will be back to resume my work by the 8th of June 2022 with no delay. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost.

I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
