Subject: Leave Application for Husband’s Accident
Respected Madam
With deep remorse, this is to bring to your kind attention that my husband met with an accident in the evening on 22nd December, 2022 while coming home from office. A drunk driver hit his scooter hard, causing him to fall on the road. He has serious injuries on his head, fractured right hand and injuries on right leg.
He is currently admitted in the ICU. The doctor has advised him to take proper rest as he has to undergo some essential surgeries. I have to be in hospital all day long and have to manage kids and household too. He has always been there for me and it’s my responsibility now to take his proper care.
Thus, I request you to grant me leaves from 23rd December, 2022- 4th January, 2023. I will try to complete all the pending work whenever I find time. I assure you to return back to work at the earliest possible.
