Subject: Leave Application for Husband’s Death
Respected Sir,
With deep regret and remorse, this is to bring to your kind notice that my husband has unfortunately and untimely passed away on 22nd December, 2022 due to a road accident. He was hit by a truck on the highway while he was riding his scooty. He was my everything and my lifeline.
It seems that my life is not worth living without his presence. There can be no replacement ever and the void is here to stay forever. He is not with us but we all will keep him forever alive in our prayers. The family had decided to organise his funeral on 23rd December, 2022. I want to be there for my family during this time to support them and to provide strength to my kids who have lost their beloved father.
It’s not easy for them either. Thus I, Sunita, hereby request you to grant me leave from 23rd December, 2022- 4th January, 2023. I will complete the targets assigned once I join back the office. I assure you to join back at the earliest possible.
I will be really grateful to you for accepting my leave application.
