Subject – Application for the request of leave for father’s pitru paksha
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would request a leave for sixteen days i.e. 29th of September 2022 till the 14th of October 2022 because of my father’s pitru paksha. Pitru Paksha is a 16–lunar day period in the Hindu calendar when Hindus pay homage to their ancestors, especially through food offerings. This is a very important event for the family and I would love to be there. I have my grandparents who live out of state coming home for this event. I have requested Miss Marian to do the required task tomorrow in my absence and she has happily accepted to do so. I assure you that I will be back to resume my work by the 21st of February 2022. I will put forth as much as I have lost during my leave and make up for the time lost.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
