Subject – Application for the request of leave for father’s heart attack
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for a week i.e. 1st of June 2022 till the 7th of June 2022 because of my mother’s heart attack. My mother, age 92, suddenly had a heart attack during a program yesterday. My family urgently took her to the St.stephen hospital in my hometown.
She is currently under the constant care of doctors. With age, we were informed that she needed to stay in the hospital for at least a few weeks to avoid risk and other complications. I would like to take leave for the next week to go to my hometown and care for my mother while my siblings and I take turns looking after her.
I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my leave and make up for the lost time. I have assigned my duties to Miss Angelica for the current project we are working on.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
