Subject – Application for the request of leave for accident
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for a week i.e. 1st of July till to 7th of July 2022 because of my brother who met with an unfortunate accident. My brother was walking back home from visiting a friend of his around 3 pm yesterday when a car hit him on the side of the road.
The driver tried to escape but thankfully there were a few traffic police nearby. The rider was drunk and was taken to jail. My brother was fortunately not seriously injured but was taken to the hospital. I would like to take leave for a week to take care of my brother, especially because we have no other families support at the moment.
My other siblings living out of state will be back only by next week so we plan on taking turns looking after my brother. I have assigned my duties to Miss Agnes for the current project we are working on. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my leave and make up for the lost time. I will be back by the 8th of July 2022 with no delay.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
