Subject: Application for the Position of a Doctor

I am writing this letter to apply for the position of a doctor at your esteemed hospital. It was recently advertised in the newspapers that HMCD Hospital was looking for a new surgeon who could look over the evening shift at the Emergency Room, and I believe I fit the requirements. I recently graduated in general surgery from KPC Medical College, and am currently in my final year of interning at the medical college hospital.
I was one of the best ranking students in my batch, and I have shown incredible results in my time as a medical intern as well. I have attached my resume which includes the details of my medical internship and graduation results here, as well as letters of recommendation from my professors.
I have read a lot about your hospital and the excellent doctors who work at it, and I believe that your hospital’s ideals fit mine as a medical professional perfectly. I am confident I can take up the responsibility of an ER surgeon at the hospital well and fulfil its duties to the best of my abilities. I will be able to learn a lot from the notable doctors currently employed at your hospital as well.
I am a hard working individual who learns fast, and I will be a great addition to your hospital. I believe I have all the necessary merits to excel as an ER surgeon. I am quick on my feet and can respond efficiently to emergencies.
