Subject – Application for the request of leave for my brother’s death anniversary
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my youngest son’s death anniversary is on the 6th of August 2022. My son, who passed away last year due to thyroid cancer at the Global Hospital in Assam. He suffered for 2 years from thyroid cancer. This year is his first death anniversary.
With his passing, it has been extremely hard on the family. His first death anniversary ceremony will be held at Paradise Resort, Winter down Road, Assam, which is his favourite place to be. Family members living near and far will also be attending this ceremony. It would also be like a family gathering after so many years of not having one, which makes it even more special.
My brother always wanted a family gathering as his time grew near to death, with his last wish being to have a family gathering on his death anniversary. I’ll have to look after the food for the program as well. I have requested Miss Ella to take my place for all the necessary work for tomorrow. I will be back by the 28th of March 2022 to resume my work.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
