Sub: Application for the request of leave for the Ganesh festival
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to take a one-day leave i.e. 19th of September 2023 for a festival called the Ganesh festival. It is also called the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, celebrated by the Hindus.
The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesh’s clay idols privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals. It is a very important event, especially for the Hindus. It celebrates the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the god of wisdom and intelligence. I would like to attend this festival with my loved and dear ones.
I have already completed the work and assignments in advance and have submitted the project to Sir James and have requested Miss Jane to take up the necessaryworkloadd for that day. I would be so grateful if you could see to this.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
