Subject: Application to bank manager for account closing
Respected Sir,
I am writing this application for a reason. I am S Kapoor, and I hold a Current Account in your esteemed bank. I have not been able to maintain the account for a few months now because I have recently shifted to a new job which resulted in opening an account in another bank for my salary credit and provisions provided by my new company.
I have no use for this account because I have two more accounts in this bank. I would like to close the account to keep track of the rest of the active accounts. I am enclosing the account passbook along with this letter. Kindly do the needful and initiate the closing process as soon as possible. I’d be grateful for the same.
