Dear Reena,
I hope you and your family are doing well and are happy. Do you remember me talking about one of my extended uncles who is an environmental activist? He and his team are up for a tree plantation project. Two days ago, I met him, and he talked to me about the importance of tree plantations.
Planting trees increases the oxygen level in the atmosphere and reduces carbon dioxide. They make the air around us less polluted. Planting trees in huge areas holds the soil and makes it strong and fertile. Moreover, trees are home to many species. When we plant a tree, we are also making a home for them. Many trees are being cut down for construction activities.
We can apologise to the trees that are being cut down by planting a tree. My uncle gifted me three tree saplings. I planted them in my backyard. I hope to see them grow big and be beneficial to many.
