Write A Letter To Your Friend About The Experience Of Your Recent Picnic In English

Dear friend,

I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. I am also doing well on this side. I am going to write to you about my experience of a recent picnic. We have a retired History professor that lives quite close to my house. He is old and fragile and the most creative man I have ever met. He made me fall in love with history. My neighborhood friends and I decided to give him a surprise picnic for his birthday. We chose a beautiful meadow for the occasion. We also selected our gifts; mine was a scarf with Mr. Pickwick, his favorite character. We baked a cake at home for him and packed a lot of things to eat as well. I cannot tell you the happiness on his face when we reached there. He kept thanking us and got teary-eyed. But we didn’t let him cry; we sang retro songs and watched his favorite movie on the projector. It was a beautiful day.
