Dear friend,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. I am also doing well on this side. I am writing to tell you about my devotion to my mother. I have never seen my mother a lot at home since my childhood. She is a doctor and spends long shifts at the hospital. I was never attached to her. But, in the Covid times, I saw a change in her nature. She used to come home absolutely exhausted but always used to sit with us and ask us about our day. I started looking at my mother in a new light. She has always seemed strong and unbeatable to me, but now I see a vulnerable side to her. I started appreciating her more, and our bond became deeper. Now, I don’t even let her raise her finger for one work after she comes home. I take care of her as she has taken care of us since our younger years.
