Dear friend,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. I am going to write about the victory day celebration in my city. Victory Day is celebrated in many countries including India. In India, it is celebrated on the 26th of July. It is also called Kargil Vijay Diwas and as you can already tell from the name, it is celebrated because of the Victory of India over the Pakistani army in 1999. In my school, every student had to make a presentation on the same topic. I learned a lot today through my classmates. I went home and told my parents about it. I also urged my father to take me to visit India Gate for the occasion. We ended our day by watching a documentary on the Kargil war. I think days like these are very important to realize the hard work of the army of India.
