Dear Teena,
I hope you and your family are in good health and are happy. You have told me many stories about your home city of Mumbai. I am writing this letter to tell you about my village. My village’s name is Palampur. This village is about 20 kilometres from Mumbai. My village has only a small population of 2 lakh people.
Like in any other village, most of the people here are involved in agricultural activities. Most of the families here own some amount of land, which they use for farming activities. The fields here grow crops like wheat, ragi, rice, etc. We do not have to buy vegetables and grains for our daily needs; we cultivate them ourselves.
Also, many of the families own cows, and they sell the milk in the village. There are small, beautiful streams in our village, which are the main sources of our water. I invite you to visit my village; there are many things to see here. I am sure you will like it very much.
