Dear Tarun,
I hope you and your family are in good health and happy. Next week is my speech competition as part of the Independence Day celebration at school. We can choose a topic of interest for the speech. The topic I selected is “being a good citizen.” I would like to share some parts of my speech with you.
The first quality we should all develop in order to be good citizens is the ability to break the gender gap between people. We should stop differentiating people based on their gender and promote equality. The next quality is responsibility. We have to be responsible for everything that surrounds us. We have to be responsible for our nation, family, and friends.
The next thing we all should have to be good citizens is love and compassion. We must spread love rather than hatred. Love builds fraternity. Hatred brings destruction and conflict. We have to use our love and compassion to help the poor. Together, we can become good citizens for our nation.
