Subject: Issue of population explosion
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention towards the explosion of population in my area.
The area around my locality is seeing an obscene increase in the rate of pollution. Plastic waste is being deposited on the road side and is not being taken care of by the authorities. It keeps rotting on the roadside. The water bodies around my locality are also being severely polluted.
Keeping in mind that animals drink water from the pond, I think that this should be checked immediately. The people of my locality are also throwing their garbage out into the street without caring for the repercussions. The prevention of pollution is necessary not only for our personal well being but also the well being of the nation.
I request you to help bring this highlight into light through the columns of your newspaper so that action can be taken against the issue.
