Dear Haritha,
I hope you and your loved ones are happy and doing well. What else is going on at school? My school’s annual prize distribution ceremony was held last week at the school auditorium. The event began in the afternoon, so we had classes only till then. Ms. Lathika, the state education minister, officiated at the event. She gave away the prizes to the students from each class with the best academic excellence. She also gave the overall championship trophy to the house teams that performed well on the school’s arts day and sports day. After she finished, the local MLA, Mr. Tarun Krishna, gave away the prizes for the top performers in arts day and sports day. The next prizes were given to students who won individual prizes for all competitions held in the previous academic year. I also received the prize for coming first in the English essay. These prizes were given by our principal and school manager. The event concluded at 4 p.m.
