Very good morning to all of you. I am very delighted to present a short speech on the topic of ‘Education’ today.
Education plays a very important role in our lives. Just like food is essential for your physical well-being, education is essential for our overall growth. It is important for our physical, mental well-being. It is necessary to achieve success in life.
We often share our goals of becoming a doctor, teacher or engineer. Our dreams are impossible without acquiring an education. Education is the only way to achieve our dream career and to lead the life of our choice.
Education gives us the confidence to move in society and it is the only and vital way to success as well as personal growth. But being well educated does’ not mean only receiving awards and certificates, getting a good salary but it also means to be a good and social person in life.
It makes us a better person by making us, correct decision-makers, right thinkers, provide a solution to all the problems, promotes good habits and awareness. Basically, we are incomplete without education.
It is so important that even our constitution has recognized it. Do you know it was in the year 2002, the constitution of India recognized it as a fundamental right? Our constitution states that the state shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years.
The various social problems in our country can be solved with the help of education. For example, it can act as an important tool to eliminate poverty and unemployment from the country. It has the capability to bring any desired change and upliftment in the human mind and society.
We all sitting here are very lucky that we are in one of the best institutions in the country and getting educated from here.
Thank you for lending me your ears.
