The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe

In this course, we will discuss the short story “The Tell-Tale Heart” written by famous American Writer Edgar Allam Poe. The genre of this work is Gothic (there is horror in the story).

It is about a person’s hypersensitivity which he narrates himself. His disease leads him to murder an old man whose eyes look like those of vulture i.e. evil in nature.

Later on, his inner conscience compels him to confess his crime before the police. In this course, we will discuss summary, analysis, characters, symbols, themes and setting.
