Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about the secret to happiness. The first step to happiness is to think positively. The good things in life are something we should never forget.
A person may have a favorable or negative perspective on a life event or experience. Positive thinkers typically experience greater happiness than negative thinkers. A glass of milk is half full to a positive individual whereas it is half empty to a negative one. A positive person finds beneficial uses even a useless object, whereas a negative person trashes even wonderful things.
Negativity promotes depression and misery whereas positive thinking generates joy. Health is first in happiness, therefore exercise often to maintain your fitness and create a strong physique. The need for regular exercise must be instilled in children from an early age.
Action should be combined with a sound mind and a healthy body, and someone who works hard to achieve their goal is happy. A mind left to itself is the devil’s workshop, and a man who is constantly engaged is always content. Since there is no limit to one’s demands and because it poisons the environment in the family, neighborhood, and society, greed is a source of unhappiness. A person who works for the welfare of others is rewarded with divine joy.
Forgiveness is the best trait of a happy person. A truly wonderful person overlooks the foolishness of others and grants them pardon for their transgressions. He leads a contented life and encourages others to do the same. Thank you.
