A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of the ‘Value of Education’.
Education is something of deep value in everyone’s life. The process of acquiring a basic level of knowledge through schooling, at the very least, is crucial for everyone as they grow up from children into adults to get a glimpse of the world and how it functions.
Education is also of value as an adult as it helps secure a job, which in turn allows for one to be financially independent in life. Moreover, it teaches one integral values in life and helps build character.
Realising the importance of education, the Constitution (Eighty-sixth Amendment) Act, 2002 inserted Article 21-A in the Constitution of India to provide free and compulsory education of all children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a Fundamental Right in such a manner as the State may, by law, determine.
