Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. A wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Books are my Best Friend.
Books are an infinite source of knowledge and wisdom. Reading books helps us learn about the world around us. Books also teach us essential human values such as kindness, empathy, truthfulness and more. They also bring great joy to us, filling us with a sense of awe and wonder. These are all the reasons that make books our good friends.
Books help us improve ourselves as people so we can contribute to the development of society. They always stay by our side through good and bad times, just like good friends should. Thus, everyone irrespective of their age should be encouraged to read books!
