Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic “Importance of Time.”
Time is broadly defined by Google to be “the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.” Again, time could also merely mean the movements of the clock.
However, I’ll be talking about time pertaining to its other definition, that is, “a moment or definite portion of time allotted, used, or suitable for a purpose.”
In this essence, time is of utmost importance. Life in itself can be taken to be a race against time, being productive every day becoming very crucial thus. This, is in fact, what is meant by the proverb “make hay while the sun shines.”
Once lost, time is one thing that can never be retrieved. Losing invaluable time will only fill our lives with regret over what had been left undone. Make use of every minute while you still can.
Time is of the essence.
