A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be talking on the topic ‘benefits of co-education.
What exactly is co-education? Google defines it to be “the education of pupils of both sexes together”. In layman’s terms, a co-education system is when educational institutions have both boys and girls studying together.
How is this beneficial as opposed to girls’/boys’ educational institutions? Firstly, this kind of education allows for more exposure. Isolation from the opposite gender is not advisable as it does not enable equality and mutual respect to grow.
More importantly, it allows healthy competition and helps students overcome any misconceptions or fears they might harbour for the other gender. It thus helps society as a whole to progress.
