A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of politics.
Google defines the term �politics� to be �the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, especially the debate between parties having power.� Wikipedia, on the other hand, defines it as �the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations among individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status.�
Politics thus concerns acts that are both to run a government and also to wield power to make decisions in individual groups and associations. In this sense, politics is something that is present everywhere, both at macro and micro levels.
A whole field of social studies has been dedicated to the field of politics, termed political science. This field of study is gaining a lot of popularity today with more and more youngsters actively taking part in politics and wanting to pursue the same.
