A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of �Picnic�.
Wikipedia defines the term as follows: �A picnic is a meal taken outdoors as part of an excursion, especially in scenic surroundings, such as a park, lakeside, or other place affording an interesting view, or else in conjunction with a public event such as preceding an open-air theatre performance, and usually in summer.�
DeeDee Stovel, the famous author, however, begs to differ. She has, in fact, said, “A picnic is more than eating a meal; it is a pleasurable state of mind.”
Indeed, calling a picnic merely a meal eaten at an aesthetic stop is an understatement. Taking a picnic involves the creation of wonderful memories to cherish with one�s loved ones. A picnic, in fact, is a fresh breath of air from reality!
