A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘Participation is More Important Than Winning.’
Participation, indeed, is more important than winning in competitions. Winning and losing, after all, but a part of the process of learning life.
Participation enables one to gain a lot of exposure to the outside world. It helps one understand different ideas and different perspectives, allowing for better insights and broadening the scope of one’s mind.
Again, participating in various events also makes one better at than event. Participating, after all, is to try, try, and try again until we indeed succeed!
Besides, it is important to understand that it is physically impossible for a person to win in every single event or competition that they take part in! Participation, in fact, is what is more important as it makes one learn about winning and losing, appreciate the talent in others as well and improve.
